The Adventures Of Thurmin Murmin (A Palindrome) Hear it!
Music: Operation Interstellar
Lyrics: Rafi Jacoby
Thurmin Murmin came forth from the mountain, his eyes bright, his
skin pale, as he had never seen the sun before
Thurmin had lived his whole life in the cave, never seen a tree, never seen the
flowers, never smiled at a pretty girl as she walked down the street
So Thurmin, having coming of age, was leaving the mountain, to experience the
world in all of its wonders, all that he'd heard of
Thurmin, where'd your blue skies go?
Thurmin Murmin returned to the mountain, his eyes downcast, his skin ashen
He hadn't found what he was looking for
They'd said "Thurmin! What are you doing? There are no leaves on the trees, the
flowers are all dead, and the pretty girls, they don't want to smile at you!"
So Thurmin returned to his cave, having learned a simple lesson: that sometimes
where you leave is better than where you go
